Dr. Zakiya M. Cush, MPH, is a board-certified Diplomate of Acupuncture through the National Certification Commission of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is based in New York City. She is certified in Clean Needle Technique by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM), is a Certified Integrative Microneedling Practitioner, and a Certified Aesthetic Laser Technician. She also successfully completed the first nationally recognized 100-hour Advanced Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture program taught by the esteemed Dr. Shellie Goldstein, L.Ac., making her a sought-after provider for facial acupuncture in NYC. Beyond clinical therapeutics, Dr. Cush is a certified Yoga Instructor, obtaining her 200-Hour certification through Yoga Works and her 85-Hour Pre-natal & Post-natal certification with the Prenatal Yoga Center.

Her study titled “The Upper East Side vs Central Harlem: What is responsible for the Dermatology Disparities that shaped these Communities?” was published by New York Medical College, where she obtained her MPH degree.
